Punta Allen is located within the Sain Kann Biosphere in a small fishing village that overlooks Bahia de la Ascencion.

  • This area is known for it's lobster and clear water.  The beautiful virgin reef offshore offers great snorkeling and scuba diving.

  • The small islands off the main land are the nesting areas for the frigates and pelicans.

  • Bone fishing is very popular in these waters and you'll find yourself fishing alongside flamingos.

Cuzan Guest House

The simple Cuzan Guest house offers basic rustic bungalows that sit on a lovely white sand beach.  Cuzan has 6 bungalows with 2 double beds.  Each patio has a hammock.  It is located at the end of the road past Tulum within the heart of the Sian Kaan Biosphere in the small village of Punta Allen.  The road is horrible and takes 2-3 hours to drive.  24 hour electricity, open-air sand floor palapa restaurant and bar are all part of its charm.  Snorkeling, fly-fishing, bone fishing and kayaking through the Mayan waterways are just a few of the programs offered here.
